That intersection is our calling—the place where God invites us to build the Kingdom. When our human resources align with the needs of the community, we are called to serve—to build community from the outside in. Community United Methodist Church of Krum is a startup. A new faith community in a growing town, where people can gather, be themselves, explore their faith, and grow together.
After 18 months of research, relationship-building, investment, and trust in God, we’ve discerned something monumental:

For nearly a millennium, Lent has been a season of preparation—a time for the church to draw closer to God in prayer, worship, study, and connection, anticipating the resurrection power of Easter. This Lent, Community UMC of Krum will also be a season of launching—not just preparing for our second Easter together but fully opening our doors to the community.
Small Group Launch - February 25 at 6:30pm
On Wednesday evening, February 26 at 6:30pm we're going to have our second small group launch event at Community UMC! Small groups will launch from this event but will meet at various times and locations.
Groups will be created based on interest, preferred time of day, and life-stage. Curriculum will be provided and will coordinate with Pastor Jarrod's sermon series during the season of Lent

Ash Wednesday Worship - March 5, 6:30pm
Ash Wednesday begins the Season of Lent, a period of time in the Spring when Christians turn to God in expectation of Easter Sunday. On Ash Wednesday, we recognize that while our bodies may be mortal, our souls are made to live forever with our Creator. So, we give thanks to God, repent of our sins, and receive the sign of the cross on our foreheads.
Ash Wednesday is a beginning, and for a Community, a jumping off point as we seek God's path leading up to our Grand Opening in April. Come and worship with us, pray with us, rise with us as a community of repentance and love.
