We are Community United Methodist Church of Krum, Texas, making disciples of Jesus Christ in the community and for the community.

Jesus once told his people a parable, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and planted in his field. It’s the smallest of all seeds. But when it’s grown, it’s the largest of all vegetable plants. It becomes a tree so that the birds in the sky come and nest in its branches.”

Great things start small, and if the conditions are right, and the work is put in, they grow. Jesus knew, and witnessed, that a mustard seed, under the right conditions can grow into a tree some twenty feet high and just as wide. From the smallest seed, to something that could be a home for the birds of the sky.

What if, together, we could build a church like that? Starting with a group of diverse folks, walking together with Christ, to make something high and wide enough to be a sanctuary for anyone?
