Common questions

What time is Sunday worship?

Our one Sunday worship service starts at 10:30am. It runs about an hour and has a casual, modern feel.

Where is Community UMC located?

We’re at 1001 E McCart St, Krum, TX 76249. We're right next to Dodd Elementary School. Park anywhere in the lot — we’ll greet you at the door.

What should I wear?

Whatever you’re most comfortable in. Jeans, shorts, tennis shoes, suits, dresses, and ties are all welcome here.

Is Community UMC welcoming and affirming?

Yes. We welcome all people, wherever they are on their journey. People of every age, stage, background, and identity belong here.

What’s it like to bring kids?

Kids are welcomed and loved in worship. Every child can grab a children’s bag with a worship guide, crayons, and a quiet fidget, and we invite kids forward for their own message during the service. Changing tables are available in both the women’s and men’s restrooms.

Do I need to be Methodist to come?

Not at all. Community UMC is a place for lifelong United Methodists, for people just exploring faith, and for everyone in between. We love questions and we love new friends.

Community Kids

From the littlest ones to elementary age, kids are welcomed, known, and invited to worship alongside us — with children’s bags, kid-specific moments in the service, and a coordinator who knows their name.

Community Youth

For 6th–12th grade. Many Sunday evenings from 5:30–7pm, we dig into the Bible and our faith — and have a lot of fun. Dinner is always provided, and everyone’s welcome, no matter your church background.
